2021년 5월 29일 학교 측에서 CAS 번호 발급을 위해 저의 개인 정보 확인을 요청했습니다.
그날 저녁 바로 개인 정보를 확인하고, 그 내용을 제출했었습니다.
The university asked me to confirm my personal information to issue a CAS number.
I checked the e-mail on 29 May 2021 and submitted my personal information through the university portal.

2021년 6월 1일 CAS 번호를 발급했다는 메일을 받았습니다.
CAS 번호가 발급되면 비자 신청을 할 수 있습니다.
비자 신청을 바로 하려고 하다가 조금 기다리기로 했습니다.
비자 신청을 할 때, 장학금 수혜 여부를 등록하게 되어있는데 이 당시에는 제가 장학금을 받는지 못 받는지 알 수 없었기 때문입니다.
The school sent me an e-mail that I can apply for a Student route visa, known as Tier 4 visa.
I would like to apply for the visa, but I decided to wait.
This is because I'm not sure that I can receive a scholarship or not at that time.

CAS 번호 안내 e-mail 일부 발췌

2021년 6월 4일 장학금을 받게 되었다는 이메일을 받았습니다.
장학금 합격 안내 메일을 자세히 읽어보니, CAS 번호를 발급 받기 전, 후 장학금/등록금에 대한 안내가 나와있습니다.
1. CAS 번호가 생성되기 전에 장학금을 받는 경우
→ 학생이 장학금을 받겠다고 회신하면 CAS 번호를 만들 때 장학금 수혜 내용이 자동으로 입력됩니다.
2. CAS 번호가 생성된 후에 장학금을 받는 경우
→ 학생이 장학금을 받겠다고 회신하면 5일 이내(평일)에 자동으로 CAS 번호에 정보가 업데이트됩니다.
I received an e-mail that I can get a scholarship and they asked me to reply to them whether I want to accept the scholarship or not.
And they explained details about how to add the scholarships to my CAS.
You can check the way to update your scholarship information on CAS depending on your status.

저는 장학금을 받겠다고 회신한 상태입니다 (2021년 6월 4일 금요일).
다음 주 중에 저의 CAS 번호에 장학금 수여 내용이 업데이트될 것 같습니다.
업데이트에 며칠이 걸리는지, 이후 비자 신청 과정에 대해서도 포스팅하도록 하겠습니다. :)
I sent an e-mail that I would like to accept the scholarship on 4 June 2021.
Usually, it takes 5 working days to update my CAS information.
I will keep notifying you that how long it takes to update my information on CAS and applications for Tier 4 visa. :)
